Welcome to First Baptist Church New Haven. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:
ATMOSPHERE
It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We believe the ground is level at the Cross of Calvary! So our Body of Believers is made up of people from all walks of life, age levels, educational levels & social economic levels. No one is treated differently than others, and our purpose is to love one another as we grow in Christ likeness. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at First Baptist Church New Haven and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family. We are a Family of Faith committed to helping people make a connection with Jesus in order to change their world. During our worship service we have care available for infants and children. Your children will receive real spiritual training from a group of caring leaders during this time.
SERMON
From the pulpit you will hear sound expository preaching. The focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed.
BIBLICAL TEACHING
Here at First Baptist Church New Haven, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members & regular attenders have a chance to grow, fellowship, and learn in a Small Group Bible Study setting where new relationships & friendship's can be found in a trusting Family atmosphere. You Will Be Loved & Accepted!

WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICES LIKE?
FBC New Haven’s worship service includes Biblically based expository preaching along with an upbeat blended music service containing the great gospel hymns that speak to your heart as well as the new contemporary worship songs that lead you to God’s throne.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
We have parking all around the main church building and designated reserved spots, near the front door, just for our guests.
WHERE DO I GO WHEN I ENTER THE BUILDING?
We have greeters located at the doors who would be happy to help you find where you need to go.
WHERE DO I GO WHEN I ENTER THE BUILDING?
Clean, well-staffed nurseries for infants and toddlers are provided during all church services, and we have teaching for kids of all ages.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and want to dress in a way that honors God. Most of our members wear something in the range of business casual to everyday casual.
